I'd like that! I too am like that and yes, I would assume with your personality that you would be tipped well!
I love food too, believe me, I'd probably sneak some bites when no one's lookin

    Good luck! :)
Bar-tending? Well, from what I've seen in movies, I find that job to appealing, especially if you're a socializer. If I am way off then forgive my ignorance, but I've never been to bar
Haha, you may have taken the prerequisites together, but yes, chances are you may have not taken many classes together.
We actually are both pursuing the same degree, and we both wish to specialize in specific breeds. But I am looking into what being a Naturalist consists of.

    That's great! About the promotion!
Oh wow, so changes are coming your way, and sorry about the uni students! I'm a college student, so I can't say "yeah they're annoying" because I am one XD
But still, I understand how you mean they are fun but annoying , I've worked with people like that.
I finally quit my job though! So much stress gone! I will miss the animals, and like two people, but I feel free!
I start my Summer A semester on Monday, a little nervous about it because the hours are long and I'm doing bio and chem, but at least I will have my bff in all my classes, and we are good with science.

    Haha, it sure is! XD
And trust me, I really wanted to say "Oh yes, I forgot, I was hired to be your maid" but I was like "No, Izzy, think, what would Jesus do?" Jk, I was like , nah don't let the bitch ruin my first job.
Geez, I hate power hungry people. I'd want to bump up too, but I wouldnt go about it by being a dick to everyone. I kinda laughed because it reminds me of my manager and how he was always stressin bout cleaning more than my boss, and he has OCD!
Uh-oh, so did that negatively impact your chances of promotion? :(

Thanks! I look forward to meeting a wolf in person for the first time! TuT
Ugh, cleaning was what the vets were on me for when I first started out. Like this one Vet spilled coffee on the stairs and told me to clean it up because she was busy. She asked nicely but she had a hint of snobbiness as if daring me to say no. I said ok only becuz I was new and wanted to please them. Plus, this is my first job, so I really wanna do my best. But as of now, I have been speaking up for myself and not letting them walk all over me.
Ikr? Instead of telling you you guys failed, maybe say something like, 'just try this out next time, I'm sure you can do it!' or something like that xD

Haha, yeah, but this is my first job and at the time I was excited because I was actually working with Veterinarians, which is what I wanted to become. Now I do not wish to be one, and am studying to become a wolf specialist.
In a way, I am glad I found out early on what it's like to be a vet, and it has nothing to do with the gore or death, but with what you actually do. vet Techs do more work and are more hands on than vets, vets usually prescribe meds and give opinions. They do important work too, but I prefer hands on.
ugh, some ASMs tend to let power get to their heads. they seem to forget that they are not actual managers.
Geez, shaking your head at him is all you can do, though he sounds like a handful when he freaks.

At least he tries to make everyone happy, it isn't easy! It's good you're like that, I sometimes need a reminder or push from my parents to mention trips or extra ours to my manager and boss
To be honest, I'm not usually happy at work, like every time I drive by the clinic, I suddenly feel depressed. i'm also stressing over if I forgot to do something or if I messed up the boarding paper or forgot to administer meds or call some clients. I can't wait to quit! I will only miss the animals.

Yes, it's good you are going to approach your manager about this early on, since losing hours is not what anyone wants.
Thank you, sadly, jerk managers will likely appear in one's career once or twice. Yes, bad enough the Vets are cocky, but the manager is going to be haughty with me too? I also demand respect in return you know? I'm good at what i do and they are short-staffed, so I am valuable. I feel like he knows it, and he has his good moments. I just do it for the animals.
But I will quit for the summer

Oh my, well hold onto them tight!
My manager really is unfair ad not very nice, but I do my est to respect him and keep my job.

What a busy manager! Some people need to realize being a manager at just one place is very stressful, so at two places is double the stress.
But at least you have those who you can have fun with!
Where I work, all but like two co-workers are jerks
