Well thank you for understanding my position. And I didn't grow up on either but my friends got me into anime in late Jr. High and I'd heard of Marvel it was never formally introduced to me I guess in the early stages of my art development.
You don't need to apologize for long replies or taking a while to post in the RPG. I like reading what you have to say and the longer you take to post on the RPG allows me to catch up on other things i've got to do. So that I'm not glued to the computer screen for however long trying come up with a decent reply. -.-; *sigh*
Yeah, I wish I could show you his pics. They are pretty amazing. But anyways, there's just something about Marvel/DC/Other comics that isn't appealing to me, in a drawing aspect, that makes me steer away from drawing that style. I think it's the rigidness of all the features and how much detail they put into everything. I have issues with little intricit details.

Yeah, I don't mind being associated with the military, just 'cause i like the benefits! And a steady income is very reassuring right now. But I don't think that he has a DA...I could be wrong though. o.o
I like spiderman...But I don't know who my favorite is. >.> I've never been real into the marvel comics, I appreciate them as an artist and I think that the whole superhero things is cool, it's just never been a major concentration for me. I much prefer manga, personally.
And yeah, I don't mind of you draw my character! I was actually considering drawing a couple of scenes.
Actually, my friend decided to go into the military. So in a way he did give up on that part of his dream, but he still makes art and it looks pretty awesome. He makes comic fan art. I got to see a picture that he was working on of Spiderman and Sandman.

I don't know what my parents were thinking when they gave me such an old time sounding name. Perhaps they thought it would be funny cause then my enitials would spell the word 'get'. :smile: Um anyhow I'm am or rather was an only child up untill recently. I now have a younger brother named Gregory Oscar Thyme. (once agin with the enittials not funny)
