Awful. Maybe you should try to appeal the situation. I hear that they look into hackings so long as the person isn't on the same IP.

My friend's roommate once logged into his account and stole most of his items, and the staff said they wouldn't do anything because they were on the same IP.

I can get that. I can. But at the same time I wonder why the benefit of the doubt wasn't given? They could have put the items back on his account anyway... It wasn't an issue of password sharing either. He'd gone on when my friend was out of the room for just a moment.

That's enough to make someone's stomach hurt. Yikes.

Did they say why they won't do anything about it??
