I'm very open about the games I play. I like to consider myself a casual gamer (Playing hexic and all that stuff,) but I do like to blow up the occasional terrorists face. To me, as long as there is at least one thing that appeals to me, I'll play it.

In CoD4, it is the graphics, realism, and story. Fucking best. In Mass Effect it's the story and gameplay structure. In Hexic it's how amazingly unboring it is.

I knew what to expect in Mass Effecct, but half the time I didn't expect that huge ass worm to jump me, or that guy to trap the cave with bombs.

It must just be my preference to more modern games.

Mass Effect is an RPG. You choose what you do next, you go where you want, and you are given quests. Some madatory, some not. However, some things can come up suddenly, where you are attacked by a giant worm, or a group of alien robots swarm you. In WOW, you just grind.

FF11 was pretty good, in a sense that some unexpected shit happened. In WOW, you always know what to expect. That is what I don't like about it.

I do like RPG's, but not repetitive ones like WOW. Stuff like Mass Effect, where you never know what to expect next.

3-ishD Online MMORPGs aren't my thing.

Now you're being ignorant. I am asking for evidence, and all you say is I wouldn't understand it.

Just forget I said anything in the first place.

I play Console Games usually, as I don't like PC Games. (The keyboard keys are usually forcing your hand into akward positions,) and I feel console games are a lot more fun and hard than PC ones.

From what I've seen of WOW, it takes no skill. That is what I was trying to say. I believe it takes no skill because I've never seen an instance where skill is required. Get me a video or something of that skill in action, and I'll change my opinion.

oo.1] Do not ask for gold in guild chat. As players know our guild is run and supported by level 80 Characters. However, the officers do not want people assuming that we give out gold because of our level. We expect all players to work for their gold just like we do. We may be 80 but we have our own outrageous expenditures to worry about.

So please if you choose to ask for gold, PST or mail the player you wish to make the request to and keep all personal transaction between yourself and the other player. Please do not use guild chat for gold begging or making personal gold agreements with other players. If you borrow gold from another player, that is your own business, do not bring it into the guild.

oo.2] Do not ask guild officers for help from their higher level characters. Officer have the right to choose when or if they will use their 80's to help the guild, beyond providing gold to our guild bank. Officers will provide help at their own discretion and can refuse requests as they choose. Our higher level toons are not for powerleveling, nor are we obligated to use them for anything but supporting our guild with gold.

oo.3] Anything placed in the guild bank, belongs to the guild. Do not place something in the guild bank, that you will regret placing there. The guild bank is not a storage place. Please do not expect gold back from the guild if you place items into the guild bank. You place items in the guild back to support the guild as a whole. Those items are appreciated and will be placed to good use.

Please do not feel that you are obligated to put gold in the guild bank. We appreciate if you do, any gold helps. But we do not expect you to place a set amount of gold into the bank per week. Please only give what you can afford to give. If you can not give gold, then place items of use in the guild bank.

For further information please read the guild bank Info Tabs. Each tab will have it's own separate information tab.

oo.4] Concerning recruitment. We appreciate those of you that choose to help recruit to our guild. However, please verify any recruitment messages you intend to post with Sullivan before posting. We do not want false advertisement, or players of the wrong level. So please contact Sullivan via in-game mail or PST if you'd like to help recruit.

oo.5] Instances, Raiding and runs.

We will do instance appropriate to our levels. Please note that you may not always get a guild group together, as lowbie we do expect you to pug groups and seek out instance (dungeon) groups through the LFG channel. Some instances will be planned in the guild calender, please pay attention to any invitation you may receive. Otherwise, feel free to ask guildies if they would like to come along. Otherwise find a group through LFG.

As a lowbie guild we do not do raids. Raid instances are for maxed characters, not lowbie. City raids are also for maxed to near maxed players. Town Raid are also for higher level characters. All in all we are not a raiding guild in any sense, at least not until players reach higher levels.

Runs are when a highbie character takes a group of lowbie characters into an instance. Clearing it for those players, who receive the loot and EXP but do not have to do any fighting. As such, at this point in time officers are currently the only players I (Sullivan) know of, who have level 80 characters. As noted we will do runs at our own discretion and we hope players can respect that runs may not always happen.

oo.6] Ranking - As now, there are currently a total of eight guild ranks. The highest two ranks (Omnipotent Plox & Paragon Plox) are reserved for the guild leader and officers. The lowest two ranks (/Noob & GM/Officer ATLS) are for servicing the guild and are not member ranks. Lastly the middle four ranks (Plox Master, Plox Division, Plox Soldier & Fledgling Plox) are member ranks and members of the guild can advance through these ranks. Via a trust/loyalty and worth system.

This means that as you gain the trust of the Guild Leader and her Officers. Through proving your loyalty to them and your worth, by what you do and how you help the guild. You will slowly rank in the guild.

This system is a slower means of ranking players and most members will stay at either the Plox Soldier & Fledgling Plox rank. This is simply to keep order and manage the guild as a whole.

Ranks may change as our guild advances and gains members. Depending on what our guild turns into, we may end up adding raiding ranks and other such ranks that will help manage our guild at higher levels. All ranks are relevant to where we are in-game, and what we can do as a guild.

Omnipotent Plox - Guild Leader. Runs the guild and ultimately makes all guild decisions; with the help of her officers.

--Sullivan

Paragon Plox - Guild Officers, Four Total. They help make guild decisions and take the place of Sullivan in her absence.

--Zaush
--Rickits
--Murin
--Zantina

Plox Master - Long standing and trusted players will be ranked Plox Masters. These are players who have been in the guild, the longest and have gained the trust of the officers and guild leader.

Plox Division - UNDECIDED RANK.

The Plox Division rank will most likely end up being a Profession rank. For those players who will use their profession to help the guild. Only one proff. per rank. So only one enchanter will have this rank. This is rather undecided as of now. But that is the general plan. We'll see.

Plox Soldier - Guild memebers, unlimited total. These are the member of the guild. Player will recive this rank within a few days of being in the guild, or sooner.

Fledgling Plox - New members to the guild, as well as inactive members of the guild.

/Noob - Punishment rank. Designed to address problem players. This rank can only speak in officers chat, with the guilds officers and guild leader. Members will never stay more then 24 hours at this rank. This rank is design to quietly deal with guild issues.

GM/Officer ATLS - The guild leader and officers have multiple alts in the guild. This rank is designed for our alts, as to not clutter the higher ranks with unused characters.

So the ever lovable Dolma beat me to asking the pally we were grouping with if he wanted to join our guild. Not so bad, I won the rolls on the purple bracers . . . I keep out rolling poor Dolma.

So OUR GUILD HAS A SECOND TANK! Finally and I do hope he sticks around. The core group of players and the upcoming new group do run stuff often. Least one thing a day if we can! So I hope our guild suits this fellows play style!

Hmn, side a new tank nothing much else happening in the guild . . . OMFG I GOT ME MY T7 GLOVES! They're pertty! I love the way they look. I want my helm, I don't like the 25 man raid gear since it's red/orange (though orange is my favorite color). I think the blue 10 man raid gear looks better!

YOP!

That's about it for my personal WoW update ^___^ Time for sleep.

Lucky me, my guild leader & vice-leader decided to offer me the position of caster-DPS leader. Wow, it's socking to say the least. I didn't think they thought so highly of me but shit is it awesome. I haven't accepted the position but it's there for the taking. During the guild meeting yesterday I got high praises from my boys, they make me so happy and the reason why I love playing the game.

Anyways, it seems like a bit of a busy job to undertake. However, I am feeling I can manage it. If all goes astray I can always ask if they can replace me for the time being.

Word, should I take the position in my guild or not? I think I should . . . it's a rhetorical question by the way, no need to answer!
