I think that you should go ahead and spend the night with your Grandma...it would probably mean the world to her...and you! ...and like you said, if something happened that you missed the opportunity, it would be hard on you! If the staff can't understand how much it means to your Grandma, then they need to be told! Follow your heart and do what you know your Grandma wants while she still has the chance to enjoy it.
