I would never do that if I was a teacher. Kids would always be doing their homework in class rather than paying attention to the new material we were covering.

Nope. Still not going better. I got a raise but it wasn't as much as my boss said it would be, fifty cents really doesn't mean much when you only get like sixteen hours of work a week. WTF? I'm only getting paid like half of what I used to and the minimum amount of hours on top of that. AND... AND I got a press pass to cover the New York Comic Con and Anime Fest in October but somehow that weekend is already booked for time off by everyone else in the store apparently. WTF. I'm so ready to just quit this job already and find another one. And that's completely not like me. I'm not a job hopper but this place is just starting to piss me off.

HOLY CRAP! It has been a long time! I was just playing the other day and there was a typhoon which whiped out half of my crops that I just planed the day before. I was pretty peeved. The football game is on today though so I can't play at all. I've been watching anime on Netflix instead and getting annoyed with Pokemon Black.

Man, I keep forgetting to take the picture of my glasses. So you're not going to wear glasses for the time being but you'll need them in a few years or so then? I've had glasses since 7th grade. I was super geeky back then, fat with braces AND glasses all in one year. T_T

Aw, stop being lazy and just go do it already! I would go try to make one for you but it would be a hassle to change the gender of my avatar. V_V

And that's insane!! It must have been VERY dry there this year for those storms to start so many fires. You drove through the two towns my brother almost moved to though! He's in Astoria now. Man, did you guys get any photos of the fires? We've only had a few major type fires in my area since I was a kid that I've seen. I grew up in a town that was mostly state forest, and there were either lightning strike fires there oooooor crazy teenage pyros. There was one large fire up the road from me near a big residential area, so they had to call in those huge Dewey twin prop helicopters to carry water in.
I hope that those ones didn't do any damage to homes.

And no volcano. Le sigh. Just power outages, flooding, tons of wind and downed trees. Vermont got hit haaaard because of the rain. A few towns are gone, literally got whipped away from the flooding, which is crazy.

I don't think there was ever a time when I didn't do homework that needed to be turned in on time. It's nice that some teachers do offer reduced credit. In the languages classes that I took they usually didn't give you points for late homework but they also wouldn't dock you points if you were sick or something and didn't turn it in on time. They would always correct it anyway though so you could see what your mistakes were.

Nah, work is always pretty crappy here. I liked the other store I used to work at better. Nothing ever seems to go my way with this store. First they gave me that wrong punch card and didn't have my checks, then they scheduled me for shifts outside of my availability, I finally got my employee discount card but the discounts aren't working on it yet, and now my punch card isn't working again and they still haven't gotten me a new one. *Sigh* That place is super disorganized. Yesterday I didn't get my brake until an hour before I had to leave. Is it really that hard to try to time it somewhat near the halfway point of a person's shift?

I always spend a lot on seeds on the first day of the season. I should get some fertilizer too when the next season rolls around. Did you manage to get grapes? I still can't remember what season they are. I forgot about the stamina upgrades, there are a few other ways to get those if you explore a bit. I haven't played in a while though I've been thinking about it. I've been pretty impatient for the 3DS Harvest Moon game to come out but I just learned that it's been delayed until October! I'm pretty mad about that. >.<

I should take a picture of my frames and upload it to Photobucket sometime. I used to do that whenever I got a new pair but it's sort of fallen out of practice since I don't post much to my Livejournal anymore.

Yeah, a lot of teachers definitely wouldn't have let me since the test was already out. I remember I was really surprised the first time I was sick and a teacher wouldn't accept my homework.

I'm hoping that in the end whatever is meant to happen happens and it'll all work out for the better.

I finally got my money from work, yay! I went through it with a fine tooth comb to make sure it was all there and I think they actually paid me for an hour more than I actually worked but whatever, I'm not going to complain.

You won't be able to do silkworms until you upgrade your barn to level 3 I think. They're really not that fun, you can't do much with them besides give them food and they seem to only produce cocoons every few days or so. >.<

I'm not really sure why the brother was in a tiff but the sister couldn't deal with not having internet or cell service. I honestly had no problem whatsoever without either of those. But I guess growing up in the country teaches you to be less dependent upon those things.

Aw, that means I'm cute then right? I wear glasses IRL. I just got some new black nerdy frames, not like the hipster ones that everyone seems to be wearing right now though, they're a bit classier than that.

The game actually asks you what you want. I was like... O. o But I don't want to choose! You can actually take people to events with you at 3 hearts if you go talk to that person the day before the event but not all events allow you to take people. I think at 6 hearts the person will ask you about going on a date outside of an event.

Yeah, definitely. I'm trying to decide what I want to do about the new CIs. I like them both but only for a few poses each. I'm not sure if I want to get one or both and if I want to use gold or cash. >.< They just released some new hairstyles too, they look pretty good in my opinion!
