Thanks, I know, it's just insane really and doesn't make any sense at all. It also makes me sad how the police has changed from a protective force to a force to make the public scared of doing anything against the current power in charge. There was this news story recently about a student whose house was raided at five in the morning, he was imprisoned, treated horribly for a few days and then finally released because they couldn't prove that he had been petting a police horse at the protest to "distract it" while his colleague threw a firework at it. I mean, who in their right mind would stand by a horse when they knew someone was going to throw a firework at it?
According to the news website, this experience managed to scare this guy enough that he decided to just give up protesting because it wasn't worth it. The police had hassled him before, but never on anything more serious than writing philosophical slogans on the sidewalk.. with chalk.
Sorry for the rant, it just makes me really heated this stuff. xD Is that Dutch in your bio by the way?
