I always write stories out by hand first ... The first draft is a short story with an ending I'm not happy with, hence the second draft, with many changes.
Well writing can take a hold of you, and drag you along behind it. I've written so many pages lately, all for the same story ... I'm crossing my fingers and hoping I can make it into a novel, my very first one.
Aw, *pats* Take a break from papers, try and get the fun into writing again!
My fighting spirit was far too much of a hardass to let imagination fall that easily. Seems they've formed a bond, so that's a definite plus. I suppose you'll have to figure out what's wrong with your own imagination yourself. Perhaps then your fighting spirit will fall back from the pit of insanity.
It's a good thing my own imagination is dedicated to preserving itself and therefore has taken extensive classes in self defense. Television and Internet, while nice, have no power over it! True it almost took a decisive beating when we were younger, but I coached it through the recovery and it's never been stronger! Unfortunately it also has a sense of superiority in which it really doesn't like being ignored.
Heh, that's rather unfortunate then. Well, fortunate that you had no distractions. I need not Internet, phone, nor another person around to become distracted. I'll stare at the screen and suddenly just go into various thoughts and ideas from various other novel ideas I'll never really write. My mind is my own worst enemy, unfortunately.
