Mm, my friend used cheats, the ones where you turned the game off right in the middle of saving, so then you'd duplicate the pokemon+the item it was holding.
She had hundreds of master balls and rare candies haha.

I've read almost all of the manga in the St. Louis county library (they have over 100!), The Kirkwood library, and the U-city library. I watch some anime and I love Hayao Miyazaki.
