I take the dogs to the park and run around a bit with them. xP That's about as close as I've been getting. I have asthma, so running has never been my strong suit. I usually do other non-cardio workouts. haha
It's a bit like that, yes, in that it doesn't require lots and lots of kneading, no breadmaker (I don't do those...). You just need a pizza stone for the oven, a pizza peel or cutting board to sit the bread out on, and a casserole dish to put water into the oven. That's the trick. The water helps create a nice crusty crust on the bread and the pizza stone makes the bottom perfect. I'll send you the recipe via FB PM cause it's a bit wonky how it was sent/written out to me. One of those tl;dr. BUT, the recipe itself is soooo simple. I've never had it fail on me. Plus, the longer you keep the dough (cause it makes enough for 3-4 small rustic loaves) in the fridge, the sourer it gets. So you've got a sourdough taste and smell in just 3+ days. I actually kept it almost a week before using it this last time. Oh man. Yaaaas *eats all the carbs*
I'll have to try out that recipe too! Looks great. I love that you bake it in the bowl. :D Perfect for a soup bowl dish if you use a small bowl!
Hah. Let them think you're an adult....then BAM! They won't know what hit em. ;)
Oooh! Let me know how things turn out and I might ask for a photo of a recipe or two ;) And that's true. I love to support artists/authors that I love. If they make a mean cake, gotta give em the dough....yeah. I just said that. I regret nothing!!
Heh. That motivation comes and goes. Trust me. I just made bread all week from a big batch of dough that sours up the longer you keep it in the fridge...so then you have a nice fresh rustic boule every time you whip it out and pop some in the oven. But most days I'm like.....this comes already made! Doot doot doot. Thanks grocery store!
