Okay, so the Ranger's Apprentice series starts off with a 15-year-old boy named Will in a fantasy Medieval Europe. Will's an orphan who grows up as a ward of the Baron, and at fifteen all the wards get apprenticed to one of the local craft-masters as a chance of raising their station. Will ends up getting apprenticed to the Ranger Halt (an EPIC character o.o), and learns how to move without being seen, how to track, expert archery, etc. They're really funny, the characters are awesome, it's got a really cool story...and the ninth book is awesome o.o

Er, yeah, that's 100% of it, which is why I said "in my province" :P I live in Ontario.
