Since I graduated high school and moved back to the area where I grew up, I've lost touch with many of my friends. I still have them on myspace, livejournal, and random other gaming sites that we frequent, but I don't actually have much contact with them. I don't know where most of them live, I have maybe a total of three phone numbers, and I haven't spoken to nearly all of them for many years.
But then there is my friend Nick. He's moved around also since high school, but he's the only one I truly still have contact with. It's sad to say it, but it's mostly-if not completely-because he calls me.
I'm pretty bad about calling people, and it is only that much harder when they aren't really into it. Plus, some of them have changed, which is completely fine, but it makes things a little difficult at times.

But back to Nick. We lose contact here and there for months at a time. But as long as he has a phone number for me, he'll call. And not just me, but other friends from school as well.

I just feel lucky to have a friend like him, someone who is willing and does put the effort out there to keep in touch.
I know I would call him, if I knew for sure what my phone plan says about calling another state(I don't handle the plan)and if I knew when he was working and such. It is easier for him to call me because he knows I'm fairly available all of the time.

But it was cool to talk to him this evening, as it always is. He'll be back in the state some time in the near future, and he might be able to come visit. If he doesn't I'll understand, but it would be cool if he did.

Well, that is my bout of randomness for the evening.
