I never played Risk myself, I'm usually not that great at strategy games. My fiance likes it though...

My mom always wanted to get one of those puzzle mats that you could roll the puzzle up and work on it later but I can't remember if she ever did get it...

I just hope that they do it again next year. ^^;

And yah, this is amazing weather...clear skies for a full week waaaa? I can't wait to like, get another glimpse of mt hood. And my brother is coming on Saturday, and I am going back to Astoria....but I hope I can convince him to stop at Mt St Helens on the way back, so long as its not too snowy over there.

Ps, TOTALLY in Portland all this week too. Just sayin ;)

It sounds kinda lame but it's actually pretty fun. It's a settlement game where you try to get the right resources to build towns and roads and you win when you've accumulated enough points (from having enough settlements, the longest road, the biggest army, etc.).

It wasn't really a ton of work, just a bit awkward because nobody communicated what they were getting and we ended up getting multiples of certain things and having a rather hodgepodge meal.

Maybe I'll work on one when I go home in two weeks. Maybe not though because my little sister would probably wreck it.

It was a fun idea at least. Maybe I'll be more prepared to check Menewsha after Thanksgiving next year.

I avoided the crazy stores, thats for sure...But I did go around to all the cute shops in the area here. Everyone else was mobbing the department stores, and we stayed away. I can't imagine that you did black friday shopping either. Or DID you? :O :O :O
We just put up Rachel's Christmas tree :3 I love it. Decorating for the holidays is my favorite thing to do.

We played Catan and I won. ^_^

I got to sleep in for a bit, then did some cooking, then I took a break for a bit before returning to the kitchen to help out. It turns out that precooked dinner still needed reheating and we made some other things to go with it.

I haven't worked on a puzzle forever but I used to really like doing them. I ate a lot but saved room for desert. I couldn't finish my cream puff though...

Did you see the Black Friday sale in the marketplace? I'm rather sad that I missed all the good stuff. >_<

I was busy and preoccupied this week too >.< Sorry! Lame that I didn't check up on you two, I know. But I am glad you were so productive! Look at you. I hope you also managed to do all the planting you meant to as well ;) Or unless its too late for that ;)

It was still a bit annoying but once the food was cooked we all sat down for a nice meal and desert and played games afterwards. How was your Thanksgiving?

Apparently he now decided to order Thanksgiving dinner from the supermarket so it looks like I won't have to cook at all now. Yay!
