I'm perfectly fine with them being turned mortal. But your two turning immortal sounds good to *cries* so many choices! lol I can see both of them being adventures, cause if mine turned mortal, then they wouldn't be used to it, and they would inevitably get into trouble just because they were still in "I am all strong and vampy" mode. XD But, being immortal comes with things too... And just cause they are immortal wouldn't mean they couldn't be killed necessarily... Lol, again too many choices.

I'm partial to your idea honestly, or perhaps we could combined the two, and in the future we find way to make them immortal as well... Perhaps it might have something to do with Delaine and will Staying true to them for (insert number of years) and then the powers that be decide to reward them by leading them to the reborn versions of their loves, and then give them the chance to pursue immortality... or on the flip side, turn thevampires into mortals againn...... kinda depends on what you want to do.
