Ya-ya! that does sound like fun - Ive been to NC before too - Asheville is beautiful! Love the Blue Ridge Mts but the weather there is much like it is here. And I do not handle freezing cold temps too well. But yeh for sure you will have to come to NOLA someday. I have a feeling you might not want to leave though - most people that do leave end up going back because there is just no other place like it anywhere. :D

Oh! LOL yes unfortunately the only skiing you might do there is water skiing. I am in Colorado right now but I never thought in my wildest dreams I would miss the south like I do now. Its just everything. Im from New Orleans and its true what they say you know. Its another world in itself there. The people, the culture, the food - the music!!! Oh yeh! I cant wait to get back home. You should make your way out there sometime for one of the big events, like Mardi Gras or Jazz Fest. I hope that you will. Anyway, I don't want to take up your whole page here but I do hope you will have a peaceful and memorable holiday ZQ. *hugs* :)
