I know! They really don't make computers like they used to.
    This laptop is brand new and my old one worked better for its entire lifespan, up until last year or so where it won't even turn on/some of the keys are broken. D;
(Although I had, had it for almost 7 1/2 years before it stopped functioning. So it served me pretty well~)

Awe! Well, I hope you feel better and less troubled yourself!
:) Everything will turn out in the end, I'm sure.

D; Ack, my computer died on me JUST as I was finishing typing my comment to you. The horrors..!

But don't worry about it! If things have been hectic for you its not your fault, and theres no need to be sorry~ Its completely understandable!!

Haha, I have all the time in the world. A lot of the fun is figuring everything out, so take your time and enjoy it!

    Guilty pleasures with the fanfic?

We'll put the thread on hiatus till you're less busy and things are working out more smoothly for you :)

    &I'm pretty decent! I've been missing some school lately because I've been sick. Fun with mono D;

Awe. Well take it easy~ I hope things get worked out for you!
:) If you ever need to talk about those issues, or anything, I'm here to listen if you need me.

Oh, I know how that's like! The troubles of procrasination. Gee, I was just making jokes at work about how much of a procrasinator I am myself... (I believe it was decided my procrasination skills were just too good for this world, you'll have to join me with yours ;) )

I really like them. But I got into them quite some while ago. I find them fun and I think they're sometimes a good way to work on your characters, see how they'd react in certain situations/with other's characters, sort of thing. My coworkers were talking about starting a D&D (dungeons and dragons) type thing in real life, and I was really interested in joining them.. I've never played myself, but I think that's a good example of a more offline version of an RP, if you've ever heard of it.

I'm sure you'd like them/be good at them! Most writers are, anyway, from what I've seen~ And there's always time to improve, no one expects you to be the best off the bat. You could try some short term ones out sometime, to get the hang of it/see if you like it. I mean, if it's at all an interest to you, I know it's not really many people's thing.

I can totally do the new one! Once you get the chance to give me the info, of course. I've been dying to use that scanner now that I know I have the option, so it would really give me something to do. & Don't be sorry about that, it's your leisure time you're supposed to be lazy and enjoy yourself!

 I'm still picking out the OC info, etc. I might give you an inprogress new one, because (oddly enough) their appearances come more freely to me then my set in place ones. Hopefully we'll both get around to everything. I mean, there's no deadline, so we can take as long as we want, eh? :)

I'm assuming it would be! And more people means more opportunities and more friends to choose from, so it's really a bonus for you!

I'm pretty good myself. I had a nap when I got home from work and ended up waking up around 2 AM, so I'm just waiting to become tired again on the computer. (This method doesn't work well, though, because I get so interested on some of the things online that I end up staying up even when I do become tired...sigh. Oh well, I think it's worth it!)

What do you think you're doing the fanfic on? (If you don't mind my asking..)
And since it'll probably be tomorrow by the time you read this, how are you doing today? (Or, respectively, 'tomorrow')

Y'know, we're talking quite some bit~ We should really consider making a hang out, or something. In Menewsha Nation's. Then we could continue our conversations there! =3

Perhaps even make more friends if anyone chooses to join us. How does that sound to you? If it's all good, should we theme it? Ideas? :P Sheesh I'm getting ahead of myself, but in the early morning it's kind of exciting.

    That's perfect for you, then!

Oh, I know what you mean. Sometimes I find it very tiring myself, I have to be in a more inspired and creative mood to get it done with and have any fun in doing it. Otherwise it feels so taxing, and unless I'm doing it on the computer, I always fear for my coloring skills (they aren't that grand), that I might mess the drawing up doing it.

That's awesome. I'd love to read some of them sometime, if you ever get them up on the computer and are willing to share~ And that's even better! I'd love to see the refs and the picture (in progress of the finished version!) I'm interested in her/your story already, and I I've barely got the details. :o

I use mine for stories or RPs. Mostly stories, but I do use 'em for both, sometimes. Of course, since I draw my OCs I use them for that, too.. but, usually not soley for that. :O That'd be pretty great, to get a drawing from you. I think I'd have to make a character sheet first, though, (for reference) because I'm feeling my descriptions to be particularly lacking appearance wise. Although I do want to leave you to your creative freedoms, I have doubts you'd even get the general idea of their appearances as I went all lazy-like on them.

Tell me more about some of yours! Maybe we can do an art trade, I could draw one of yours (if not this new one~) too.

Haha, really? That's always a neat year. I wasn't that fond of gr 1~8 personally. I'm in grade eleven right now, I think it's pretty good, as far as school goes! I don't think highschool is anything to worry about, if anything, I liked it better than 1~8, it seemed like so much more freedom. But, I don't know what the differences between middle school and highschool are, really, since elementary functioned the same the whole way through (eg. I had to be in the same class with the same teacher all year round, we didn't switch classrooms for subjects like highschool does, and what I think most middle schools do? Correct me if I'm wrong..) & That made it quite the refreshing change.

I think you'll enjoy highschool though, no need to worry about it!

I'd say, at least in your case, it's definately a good thing! As long as you don't feel it hinders your ability to enjoy yourself, it's wonderful.

That's a good way to do it! And that IS better than nothing. No need to get a job until you feel its necessary, and you're introducing yourself to similar responsibilities through your chores. You can just have fun in the meantime. :) No need to end that fun prematurely.

Haha~ I'm certainly considering it. I left my sketches in my other room, though, so I probably won't have much to scan up for another week or so (unless I get doodling~)
Then there's the matter of cleaning it up, maybe coloring it.. It's all a fun process to me, though..

Really? Share her/him/it with me! (I mean, if that's alright to ask~!)
And at the moment I have seven major ones. Well, more like six, or five. Since two of them are variants of already existing OCs, yet I still consider them separate characters.

At least, those are my more major ones that I've gotten more sorted out. I have many more in progress, or ones I'd consider complete but are missing key details, and handful of minor ones (which mostly take place in any stories I've been slowly progressing in writing.) I've got five I hope to fix up within the following month or so, but I realize their depth won't come without even more time.

Do you use your OCs for writing, or RPing, or just to satisfy your imagination/something to sketch? :P Anything at all?

Awe, that's too bad you hate school. Well... I do too.. So we're in the same boat. Are you still in elementary/jr high, or? (Where I live there is no jr highschool.. kindergarden~grade 8 is elementary for us.. So I always forget to ask about middle school!)

Really? You seem pretty mature for your age, then! :)

You could still try getting a job, being younger will just limit your options. For the most part (at least, this is how its like where I live.. it might be more stricter where you do?) you can still work at a lot of places, you just can't legally use the cash register till a certain age. And even then, most places still put you on register. One of my friends was working construction-type jobs when he was 12 (or was it 13? Haha, I feel like I've known him a long time now.. I guess I have), but he really needed the money (his family was having financial issues..)

So, I'd say just enjoy yourself instead of getting a job yet, which I'm assuming is what you're doing! :D Have fun and lots of it!

Awe, really? Well, I know how you feel about that. Yet after like three years of having it, I just realized my dad has a scanner (I keep talking about needing to find my scanner, and there was one there all along!). It was part printer/fax machine, so it deceived me. :O Which sort of makes me want to start scanning my own work up.

I know! I have to go back to school on Monday. :( You too?

Yeah, it's definately a bonus.

Haha, I probably should. It's just not my main priority right now. If I ever want to take one up, one of my best friend's step dad teaches art classes in their house, so I could always join in on that.

You should get one! Start passing around resumes, or something! I work in clothing retail, lol. It's minimum wage, but it's really slack and I like where I work/the people I work with, so its all good. I really go there just because I enjoy doing it over the money aspect (not that I don't mind the money...!)

Really? That's awesome. Do you have any examples?

Haha! I wish I could make such a resolution. But.. I've hit that level of laziness where you don't even want to pretend to commit to unlazying yourself.

 I'm very well myself. I just got back from the movies.

Yeah, it can really be a pain sometimes. Unless it changes for the better. :)

 I'm fine with moving! I'm doing the same thing, except, I'm moving more like 5 blocks away to a much smaller house.. But I really like the house, my friend lives in one of the same model, and it's closer to all the stores/two of my best friends.

Haha! I know, I really should. I was thinking about taking them back up, but between school and work I've got my scheduel filled, and I've already picked other electives I think I'll enjoy more in school. That's pretty awesome if art class is working out for you, though!
(Okay, I lie a little bit there, I've got plenty of free time. But.. SHH..)

Really? Well, we're in the same boat then!

    &Yeah! Happy new year!
    I don't have a resolution, though...
Maybe I should make my resolution to try and actually stay in one of my art classes.

How about you? Do you have one?

&How are you doing today? :P

    :) Thats good~ Enjoy it !

I completely know what you mean. I remember having to draw realism in my art classes, and I found it very hard to do it without losing track of what I considered my style. (Yet, I wanted to get better at anatomy and the like..) Then, when I finally thought I did alright at realism, I couldn't draw how I wanted to anymore. Quite the pain, but everything comes with practice/time (or so I've been told... I'm just hoping that it is true!)

Thanks! That's one of the only pieces I've managed to make and be half-way satisfied with (recently, at least)

 We believe my scanner to be somewhere hidden in the garage's attic. I'm moving soon, so I figure it'll show up somewhere during the move (...well, I'm praying that it will :P)

&That's really awesome. I like drawing anime-esque-people too, that's almost all I draw. I kind of just stick to my OCs, for the most part. Unfortunately I don't possess or aspire to so much variety.

But that's really awesome that you can/want to try with still life. And that's definately an accomplishment worth being proud of! Doing things like that drives me insane, and I have no patients for it D;! I admire that you can~

&That made sense. Your point of view on things seems to be one that'll help you learn a lot more, so I'm sure you'll make a lot of progress!

I'm a bit more stubborn unfortunately.. I've dropped two art classes because I felt like they limited me too much, yet if I had stuck with them I'd have learned a lot from it. Sheesh, I'm my own worst enemy sometimes.

Do you make up characters with your anime-type drawings often, too? Or do you draw more fanbased stuff, etc?
