oh, forgot to say, yay to liking the lighter-ish stuff. I can't say i like thrash that much, part from testament and overkills newer stuff, and a bit of megadeth xD
But yeah, i like my melodeath/death metal and a bit of the old (nu metal?), like devildriver and lamb of god xD
Folk/vikin/pagan metal will NEVER die in my opinion tho, it's TOO awesome xD
OH! i just remember i forgot to mention one band to lovelust so i shall ask you instead, equilibrium! The vocals are heavy and they generally are but the viking/folk is awesome :D

Back when Lordi won eurovision in 2006, turisas supported them when i went to see lordi xD
I'd never heard if them, then all of sudden they were singing battle metal and half the crowd were going mental xD
I've gotta say, i was a bit freaked at first, i was only 16 after all xD
But yeah, i did meet a couple of them at the last gig i saw em at...think they supported dragonforce? (i only went for turisas of course!), they'd just added that new female to the band, and it was her 18th birthday, so i met her and the violinest xD
