I'd say the easiest way for newbies to get gold, is to play games. : ]
You can get at most 500 a day, or 1k with a mule. ♥

&Then, you can also get goldies by posting in forums. The more you type, the more gold the post is worth. ^.^

Well you earn money by posting, the more contents your post has, the more gold you get
and then there's the arcade, play games and at the end you get a bit of gold
I would suggest Tetris, it pays off much more than the others ^^
