Now try not to take what I say personally.
Focus on your characters when you develop them, try and make sure they have some flaws. Even just minor ones... All of them have flaws. All sorts of flaws... try to give them a bit more personality.

I dunno maybe you just need to work on how you post?
Some times you don't add enough details. People like details and complicated story lines.

And I adore all the steampunk stuff
