Interesting. Mine range, really. Most houses we have lived in were haunted, as New Zealand seems to be a really spiritual place. It's a fairly new country compared to others and many wars happened on the land, not only between white settlers and Maori, but the different tribes of Maori way before white man came here.
Where I live right now has many "hotspots" where you can definetly FEEL something. The battle between the Waikato and Taranaki tribes was especially bloody. There is a cliff where the women of the Taranaki tribe threw their babies off from and jumped from to escape being slaves of the Waikatos. At one point the river below apparently ran red with their blood and many infants' bodies were found. Some bones still wash up to this day.
When I visited this place, I could see them watching us from the trees. The cliff and river are Tapu (sacred) of course, so we could just sit there and stared into the trees.
One time, when we were searching for these boys that fell into the ocean during a freak accident (one of the boys visited me often, usually as a dark shadow dripping with water and with black, staring eyes and always gave me the feeling that someone was going to die), while walking along the coastline near where the accident took place, I saw three Maori standing on the shore and looking out to the islands. One of the boys was a Maori, so I like to think they were guiding their souls back to the shore.
Well, I'll tell you now because I doubt Master has told you, but my whole family (esp. the females) are quite psychic and in tune with the spiritual world. I always see ghosts, so I have tons of creepy ghost stories if you are up for some of those.
But I have once saw an asian man playing a bamboo flute as I left work one night at 1am. I heard the music follow me all the way home. It was really nice and peaceful.
True, though he's pretty much locked out of the room and knows that Felix is basically killing a man. I don't think he'd risk it now, especially when Felix is in such a state that he'll very, very easily kill someone without necessarily trying. *pokepokes*
Not that late, apparently. *pokes Pap that happens to still be online*
Oh, I doubt that he'd be caught up like that. One must meet an incubus's eyes before they're entranced more than they would be under normal circumstance.
Still an evil book.
But-but-but~! And hell, I don't care, let him overhear as you see fit enough to cause discomfort or torture as we're prone to do! Once the door is closed it's up to you to decide how... much is heard.
I just remembered another story, this time said by a family friend's little girl when we were in Australia. I think she said something about "demons outside" but I think she was afraid of the fruit bats, which were quite loud and sounded slightly demonic.
I just remembered another story about my other nephew, Jamiee. He had woken up by a bad dream and I over heard him talking to his mum. Apparently there was "a man all in red trying to kill him and his brother". I know it was probably just a nightmare, but it sounded so creepy the way he said it.
My story, well I have two, is this: My nephew was being looked after by my mother. He was about 3 or 4 at the time. They were the only two people home when he comes into her room and says, "Granddad's home!" She thinks this is weird because she didn't hear his bike or the automatic garage door. She asks him if he is sure and he says: "He's hiding behind the car." She then, trying to not be scared and scare Michael in turn, takes him to the garage. No one is there.
The other story is about my little brother when he was about 5 or so, he was convinced he had "an other mother" (Coraline-style) that lived in England and sometimes he would cry because he wouldn't be able to see her any more.
