Well, okay... A young blind man is given a chance to do whatever he wants for his sixteenth birthday, and he chooses to go on a cruise despite not being able to see. His parents agree, and allow him to have his own cabin to begin to break away and be more independent. The first day out to sea on a two-week journey, he accidentally bumps into a young man of seventeen whose parents are on vacation with him because he recently heard some bad news and has been rather depressed for a while. He's intrigued by the blind teen that actually wanted to go on a cruise though he can't see any of it, and they begin spending all their time together. As such they fall for one another and despite realizing the distance they'll be separated by when the two weeks end, they promise to keep in touch via letters and want to eventually meet again.
