Thank you for explaining that to me. I'd love to be a part of something that interesting! Of course, in stories there's usually conflict... Without it, really all that happens is someone bakes an interesting pie and everyone else goes, "Oooh!"
Thank goodness... Every time I talk to someone without it being face-to-face, I worry whether I'm being irritating or not. I have a lack of understanding of some areas of social skills, and too much understanding in others.
Also, sometimes I get confused and have to ask questions which sound stupid. So, here goes, because otherwise I'll just feel even stupider:
"And maybe we could do something with this,"
Can you clarify exactly what you mean by something? I really don't want to wind up thinking something other than what you're thinking.
Oh, wow! I like the cottage a lot. The suggestion that there are rooms for people who stay a while gives the idea that it's a very comforting and nice place, and Lola sounds like a very nice person.
... Here I go again, trying to find something to love and something to hate about everything. I can't find anything to hate. (I have this thing with my friends, if I show them a drawing or a story I did, they have to find something they love about it and something they hate about it, so I can try and improve. I'm not sure it works so well, but that might be because my friends aren't that interested in why the left arm of whatever picture looks wonky, or why it's so interesting that I said something in such-and-such way.)
Thank you for showing me this, it really is nice to find some sort of understanding of how a well-written character description works.
If at any point I get unbearably annoying, please tell me. I don't like the idea that I'd be irritating someone without knowing that I was doing so.
I would love to see it, it sounds very interesting. Also, information about your character might help me figure out how better to describe my characters in words. I have problems with that. I think someday I'm going to lock myself in my room with just Wordpad or OpenOffice and write up about twenty of my characters, just to see if I can figure it out.
Again, thanks! I'd love some help. I really hope you know where to start, though, because I never really have any idea when it comes to writing, or roleplaying, or anything, really...
Oh, thanks! Well, I love writing, but I'm not very good at it. And I'd love to get into roleplaying, but the thing is, I'm not very good at that either and there's nowhere I know of for beginning roleplayers...
I like what you described more. I work better with the students one on one. I mean I like having a classroom and an office... but seriously, it would be nice to have the ability to work with each kid where they are at... I can't do that here.
