    xD You're welcome. :3

    I don't even know why my brain selected Rifts of all gaming platforms to use. xD I have little interest in it myself and most of my interest is in stuff like Blue Rose, Noblis, Delerium, Changeling, Victoriana, and any other fantasy-type rpg whether they have modern elements or not. xD; (Which obviously includes D&D.)

    I would however be down for a space commando game where people had the tendency to be shot into space on accident. xD Because, c'mon.

    I forgot to mention in my long ramble that one of the things we chit-chatted about was your sudden enthusiasm for painting models/miniatures. Like, the Warhammer stuff. I at least know where that came from because a few weeks ago I was watching some guy on Youtube who painted those sorts of things for a living. Well, I wasn't watching him do that, I was watching videos of recaps of his D&D sessions. xD Which were mostly amusing and I think he was the model for the older guy in your fictional gaming group. xD

    Anyway! ::share for possible further amusement!::

    So, last night I dreamed about you. o_o;

    I suppose it was reading that you were having a hard time and so my brain was like, "Well, she ought to have a very good time, damnit."

    So since one of the things I'm really interested in doing right now is table-top gaming, I'd decided you'd started a new gaming session of "Rifts" with your local gaming group and had such a great time you wrote a LJ overview of what happened - complete with composite images of the group's characters. I was entranced by the picture, because there were like 10 characters and most of them were your standard "super space commando" group with elves and halflings and humans, all badass and beautiful/odd looking in a sort of generic inoffensive way in their mid-late-20s (or whatever appropriate for their race). And then there was this human guy who was drawn much more realistically than the other characters and about 40 or 50 and I'm like, "holy cow, Sizz - who did that? Was he based on someone you know??" And you're like, "oh yeah, that's so'n'so's character. He just decided to play 'himself' this game for laughs. My obvious omg! over the guy prompted a girl in the gaming group to ask the guy if I was one of his former students because I reacted like I knew him. lol.

    Anyway. I was really excited to realize you wrote LJ recaps of your gaming sessions. Complete with videos of the actual session (which apparently involved sitting each player in front of a blue or red or orange backdrop and aiming a camera directly at them to record the session from the perspective of each person. Oh, and some of your gaming group came to the sessions dressed in Star Trek costumes - which I thought was creepy and weird at first but then thought it was really funny in an awesome way). And memorably there was one hilarious session where you reenacted with models how your "gnome mechanics cleric" (I think it was something like that) got shot into space with two of his assistants in the first session.

    Oh, and also you happened to be in town and we chatted and you mentioned your friend Scuzz was staying with you for an extended stay and I was like, "hey wait, that wouldn't be my friend Scuzz, would it? That bastard didn't tell me he was around. D< Tell him to email me or something. D<" And then your boyfriend showed up and said you needed to go to work or be late so you headed off and your bf came in and baked special chocolate chip cookies and left us some before he went home too. o.o

    There is a lot more detail to it than that, but I think anymore would be weird, yeah? >_<; Like how your family was so organized it had a "cheat sheet" made up for the cookies which showed what they should look like when they came out of the oven. It was highly professional looking and had family notes scrawled on it to make fun of some of the failures various generations of the family had had and were now recorded for posterity on the cheat sheet... o.o

    I know what you mean. I'm always trying to put weird colors together, and most of them work. A lot of them fail miserably, though... D;

    I lost around 20lbs throughout pregnancy. Even with the baby I never surpassed my pre-pregnancy weight. I think that kept me away from gestational diabetes and blood sugar issues. I've not weighed myself in a while but once I finish recovery I'm curious if I'll have lost an even 30lbs. I'm happy that I've been in my pre-pregnancy clothes since coming home from the hospital!

    I still want to lose much more weight though. >.>
