I wonder how they made their Slendy prop. The arms move rather awkwardly so I'm guessing it isn't CGI...

I only follow around forty blogs and I could barely keep up. Some of them are insane posters and rebloggers, which doesn't help with my OCD of wanting to go through everything I've missed while I was gone and end up spending hours just going through them, and then going nuts when I run out of posts and had to wait before I could reblog again, etc...

I think I got to #17 last night, the one where the guy (Jay?) woke up after seven months of no entries and no remembering anything that happened during the time. I got to about 11:30pm last night and went to bed, thinking that even if Slendy appeared, I wouldn't be able to tell because my eyesight's so bad he'd just blend in with the rest of the clutter in my room.

Haha I just search 'themes' and then scroll through the pages until I come across something I can work with. It rarely has everything I want, but it works well enough I guess. I haven't logged on there in a few months though, it eats up way too much of my time so I end up trying to avoid it altogether.

...Omg, 130 entries to go through...54 of them are Marble Hornets I think on this collection of videos on YouTube I found. *watching Entry #5 atm*

Hahaha yeah, I spend even more time with my tumblr themes. I'd spend hours looking for a good theme to copy-paste, then spend more hours editing all the images to the ones I want and not the originals, and then try to color-coordinate everything...by the time I finish, 8 hours will have easily passed.

I thought Slenderman originated on the Something Awful forums as a contest entry?

I've changed mine so many times I don't remember. I usually spend hours agonizing over the details every time anyway so once I finish I just don't want to do anything again anymore for at least several months.

I've heard of Marble Hornets, about how it's a documentary-sort of video, but I haven't seen it before.

I mean, I only know the version from creepy pasta, but now I find this Slenderman Wiki, with all these links about proxies, collectives, Karl, Dead Head, whaaa....... *deaded*

Yeah, we don't have large claw-hands aside from that one claw pose. Our avatar bodies are just too 'cute' for most horror stuff.
