I am actually done with school. I have a bachelors degree in studio fine arts, with an emphasis on 3D-2D design, and a masters in Occupational Therapy. Maybe someday I'll go for the PHD, but at the moment that is super silly to do, as it racks up oodles of debt and does not offer much increase in salary. I'd do that only if I decide to become a professor. I tried teaching a class to associates level students this past summer, and the experience yielded a lot of work and almost no pay. So at the moment I am looking for another Plan B for when my back and knees make being a therapist too hard to do.

Ya know, I've tried to get other friends to join, and failed. One of my friends is really active on Neopets but won't come over to here. Sad! I had another friend join, and never log in again. Oh well, I tired!

Actually, I am not on Gaia. Never have been really. I snooped around there once, it's got some super creepy forums! I'm also massively biased, but I think their avatars are pretty funny looking.

I actually know Aoi IRL, we've been friends for about 5 years or so now. One morning we went out for brunch and she was telling me about the site. It was shortly after the VD event, so I missed out on the pillow fight (sad)! The site sounded so fun, I just had to join. I've been pretty successfully addicted since!

I actually am about 6 months behind you and NO WHERE near you on questing:) So while you didn't meet your goal of all the big ticket items in a year, you did pretty good considering! How'd you find Mene? Aoi Midori talked me into joining:) I'm really glad she did, I have a great time on this site:) I am in the process of creating an exchange thread. Figured it's about time...(note to self, stop being lazy)!

You are WAY farther along on the journey than I am! Since the sash and the oriental fan are really my only "big" rares. I think my next goal is to get back the stuff I traded that I didn't have duplicates of, so the two cloaks, the sash of chaos, the dove/raven headwings, and the evil overlord/woodsprite. Then, I don't know...I'd love the PL hairpin or pendant but will probably not go for those items for quite sometime as I really don't have the pure or items for it. I should probably open up an exchange thread (especially since I tend to be the one who updates the priceguide, etc)! Do you have all the major rares except 3? What are the other two you need?

Thanks! I love this item the most of the PL items because it is the easiest to use. Some of the others are kinda hard to use. If it helps, I probably way overpaid for the item. So when you get the next one, You'll probably spend a good 50k less than I did (going by the price guide averages).
