Well Vladamere is a complicated character. He is royalty, a born vampire he collects the bones of his victims and instead of feeding off of blood he feeds off of a persons will to live. The less they want to live the less he wants to feed from them.
Esmerald is a prince of the snowy wastelands, though he's beautiful and strong willed he wants nothing to do with becoming King and often takes trips away from his home to be with the wilderness. He has an arch enemy named Diamond who collects anything of high beauty.
Haha alright well I have quite a few characters that would work for a dark romance... Some of them are kind of sadistic though. I have several vampires in mind though, there is Vladamere, Alucard, Daisuke, Cable, or Esmerald. Though Esmerald isn't a vampire he's a very interesting character to play and I think he'd work well with the arranged marriage plot.
I thought you meant that I should play in it as myself... if I did that it might turn out to be a very strange RP. I'd be happy to RP with you but I think it would be better if I picked a character first. Were you looking for a fantasy type setting or anything?
