It was getting late, he knew that he had to go to bed soon, but the lure of the small body curled up on the end of his bed was too great. The young neko that he had adopted had fallen into a deep sleep as he had sat at his computer, and now the sounds of purring and heavy breathing filled the room.
Quietly, so not to wake the precious creature, Gizmo left his computer chair and crept silently towards the neko, his heart pounding in his chest as his excitement mounted. He had yet to show his newly found pet how much he liked him, putting it off until the neko was adjusted to his new surroundings. Sitting softly on the bed next to the creature, Gizmo pet its head gently, enjoying the feeling of the soft fur and silky black hair. He lent in and breathed quietly into the neko's black ear, "Nekooo... Wake up please..."
