I just thought of something else to talk about, haha...I edited my previous post (but you read it before I was done editing).
So let me know what you think about that?

I've never really made a character profile before...I usually just develop the character as I write. More freedom that way, I feel. So we can just start the story. And it doesn't matter to me who starts the thread...though I think you should have the first post of the story since it all starts with your character's death.

I am laughing so hard at the moment. You are just so funny right now. I want to remember this forever.
Also, because our conversation is on your page, or at least for me anyway, I can see those words without highlighting them :P

I'm really excited to start writing this. :)

My idea was that the main characters get stuck together because the man that hit and killed your character fled the state in fear of being found out, but my character knows where he may have fled to, therein leading the zombie to where he could find his killer. So the characters basically have to chase after him. It sounds like your were thinking something else...that they find the man and kill him almost immediately in the story?

And how would the characters meet? After attacking the police officer, your character could possibly flee into town in confused search for the man that hit him and ends up in the bar. I'm just wondering how my character would know he's a zombie....unless she doesn't. Maybe she knows that something isn't quite right about your character, but your character explains that he'd been hit by a car and wants to beat the crap out of the guy who had done it?

And if that's what happens, maybe they would find the driver at his home (therefore throwing out my man fleeing idea) and the zombie gets into a fight with him and during that fight, something would happen to your character that would kill a living human being, but he survives without feeling the pain.

Yes that's what I mean. Maybe watch one of Mark's videos as well to bring you back down to reality. Sounds like your head is still in those clouds of yours.

I like the human-zombie alliance, though I was trying to think of an idea as to why they are allied. Any normal circumstance would just lead to the zombie trying to attack the human. So there must be something crucial in the zombie's mind that gives the human worth so he would not try to attack her. I was thinking that she may be the key to finding the guy that hit and killed the zombie. So possibly the driver was drunk, hit the guy, and sped off. The girl could've been the bartender where the driver was when he got drunk, so she knows who he is, or something like that. But I was just wondering if just knowing the guy would give the girl enough worth to the zombie to not attack her. Maybe she used to be with the guy, so she basically knows everything about him.

Those were just thoughts I had last night when I was trying to sleep. I also thought about who the first person to be scratched by the zombie was. If the driver got drunk and decided to drive home or wherever, someone could possibly call the cops and have them follow him. And when the police officer pulls up to your now zombie character probably standing in the middle of the road, he starts shouting at the zombie to get off the road, causing the zombie to get irate and attack.

Just a few ideas. :3

As for your ideas, are you saying that the zombies would still have their humanity at first, just grow a bit hostile, but as they mutate they would continually lose their humanity and become more hostile, therefore gradually becoming man-eating monsters? It would explain how a lot of people could get infected at first without realizing it before it turns into a pandemic. I like that idea. If that wasn't what you had in mind, I'm sorry for putting words into your mouth!

But this kind of leads me to the thought: Are we going to try to explain what causes the zombie mutation, or leave that a mystery?
