Aw! That's so cute! I hope so too, and that's exactly how I look at it. Why torture yourself with "what could have been if you just __" when you could go for it and never have to wonder? Even if you make a fool of yourself, it'll only last for a little while and then it'll be over and you'll move on.
I didn't even know there was a novel! My brother is actually the big musical fan in the family. He loves theater and is an assistant stage manager for his school right now. He's wanting to try out for Seymour in Little Shop, but doesn't have the confidence right now. My mom and I have been trying to build him up and get him to sing the songs so he'll be able to try out when school starts back up.
I'd love to see it! My mom has been looking at tickets for the past couple years, but something always comes up. My brother has been dying to see it. He has all the songs on his iPod and listens to them all the time. It looks like a super interesting storyline!
