I could play everquest 2 with you. It used to be really popular, I think the problem is that all the people playing it now just have max level characters so are just doing endgame stuff. I used to have a character on everquest and everquest2. I dunno if either game is still in my computer lol. But I really enjoy Rift. It's my favorite mmo. The skill trees in Rift can be a little confusing, so you might wanna look some stuff up and read about it, if you plan on playing rift. Some of the skill trees are only available if you pay real money for them, which is dumb. I just use the ones the game provides for me for free, they're good enough.
Well, are playing Everquest or Everquest 2? Cause Everquest is old, it was one of the first mmo's and not very many people still play it. Anyway, when you log in, on your character select screen there should be an option to switch servers..but you can't take your character with you. You'd have to create a new on on the new server you pick. If you do play Rift. I have characters on Wolfsbane and Faeblight in Rift it's called shards instead of servers.
In Tera, if you wanted to play with me, I'd probably have to create a new character, but also, if you wanted to play Tera with me, you'd have to download teh European version from the european site because I play it with a guy in australia. We're on Veritas server in Tera.
and you know me. I have too many rp characters, makes it so hard to choose from. I kinda wanna do Loki, but he's off with Fala. And I can't do Jack, cause he's in a week long coma at Krinn's room in an inn with Mei there to tend him back to health. *flails around* too many other characters in my head, I can't pin one down. I could do Kasimir, but I dunno. He's laid up with a gunshot wound to the side.
lol everquest is okay. Tera is more fun in my opinion for mmo's and Rift. Because rift has this thing that other mmo's don't, basically open world instances. But most of the rifts that open in Rift in the world can be closed solo if you know how to play your character. Plus you don't have to actively search for a group to close down rifts. If another person is nearby a button pops up to either join them or a button pops up on their screen for them to join you. and then you can just leave the party one the rift is closed and go about your business. It's less social and more casual in my opinion and I love casual mmos. Tera is almost as casual, it's face paced too. a group can run through mobs in seconds. dungeons still take about an hour or so sometimes though.
anyway. I can't decide which character to play in your fantasy rp.
lol uhm. same thing as every other MMO. Run around and kill things to try and ultimately save the land/world/realm. But like these events will happen where rifts open up in the world and you can go kill the monsters in the immediate area of the rift, cause they came from the rift and you get like a special currency and various items for doing it. You can buy some good gear with the currency and it's easy to get. but it's still basically a 'here is your quest go do it' type of game like all MMO's.
Awh. and yea. it's an MMO. Rift is a really good MMO, at least in my opinion. I haven't played it much lately but it's fun. I like it a little better than other MMO's.
