i feel the same way! like completely!
but i am so invested in the characters in my head that it doesn't bother me to see someone else's ideas of what the characters look like because i still have mine... sometimes i think it's funny how off they are and other times it's funny cause it's almost exactly how i pictured it... so it's kind of touch and go lol

and the manga is really just an illustrated, and less adult, version on the books... i mean the first two volumes is basically all of kyrian's story... minus the sex and some of the violence... you just get like a quick run through... with out a lot of the emotion... so watered down i guess is the right term... but still not bad... i prefer the books for sure though! can't beat those!!!

acheron was like book 12 or 14 or something... sin's was 10 so i was also a bit lost... things made much more sense when you start from the beginning lol
i have 'bad moon rising' but haven't read it yet... i am putting it off cause i don't want it to end i guess lol 'no mercy' is out now but in hardcover and i like them all to match in paperback soooooo... i have the first two volumes of the manga (kyrian's story) and i have 'infinity' which is a young adult reader about nick gautier :D

my first book was sin's... and i was fooled because of the name of the book 'devil may cry', i totally thought of the video game :lol: it was most definitely not the game, but i was happy to have found it cause there is some acheron in that one... as he is in like all of them :drool: but his book is so great, no? i cried when i read it... both times *pouts*
but zarek's book is really good too! ... it's so hard to pick a favorite after acheron though haha

hey no need to apologize when it comes to the dark hunter series! :squee: i just adore them all and i have all the books and a few of the short stories, as they are harder to find... but i love acheron! he is my fave! but who doesn't love simi? she is fantastic!
