lol. Well, the comment are public so. Private messaging is easy. On a profile there are three links. One is to send a message, the next to donate, last to challenge someone to a game. You want the first one.

Another way is in a thread, at the bottom of a post there are blue buttons. There's a 'profile' button, and a 'message' button. or PM I think it's labeled.
