11-28-2011 04:50 AMFluttershyHa, aww, that's cute and funny! My good Patches used to sleep with me at night, on his own little pillow, because back then he could get out of his cage. My parents didn't buy a new one for ages, though, so I suppose they were all right with that. Odd how families are like that. -
11-28-2011 04:36 AMFluttershyThese are exactly the same in appearance, with the same name (strange, but my parents named them, and I never questioned), Patches. The only way you can tell them apart is that one is evil and tries to bite you when you come near the cage, and the other is mild-mannered and lets you pick him up. When my mother called yesterday, she said they were still doing fine, and I had to ask how old they were. Eighteen years old. At this rate I feel they will outlive my parents!

11-28-2011 04:25 AMFluttershyI'm just lucky I go to town for feed and a few new toys every month. Oh, I probably would have broken down by now and got a few more cats! Or a rat or two... Possibly I would have cleared the place out. I do love birds, though. My parents still have a couple parakeets from when I was a child, still kicking along. They can certainly live a long time.

11-28-2011 04:07 AMFluttershyOf course, domestic rats are extremely clean! And quiet pets, too, for quiet people. I love going into pet stores and looking around, the little cats and puppies are too adorable! But I really pay for it since when I leave, I wish I could take all of them with me.

11-28-2011 03:47 AMFluttershyOh dear, my home would be far too busy if I had any more animals than now. With the kids coming over every day except weekends, and taking care of dogs and cats and rodents for others going out of town or needing to get away for a while, it's already very active. Back when I was younger, we had so many more. Ferrets and mice and a few rats, some snakes and a few large tarantulas, some cats and dogs of every size, a few large birds, and a couple lizards. A few years ago I adopted a wolf-hybrid, now that you bring it up. He was very old, though, and died a couple years after coming home with me. But he was happy, I could tell, and I wouldn't have had it any other way.

11-28-2011 03:33 AMFluttershyHeeh, I've never dyed my hair, but I've been told it looks like I have, since it's naturally chestnut brown and streaked with blonde. But I suppose I'm too modest to take those compliments. On the other hand, I really hate taking anything in general, be it verbal or physical. And truly, if I could, I would adopt every animal that comes within five feet of me. But I settle for a couple horses and a cat and dog. At least it's something good.

11-28-2011 03:16 AMFluttershyOh yes, I tend to be a bit of a mix, though I can so well relate to Fluttershy. I'm a big reader and writer, and I love to learn and teach. I have boundless energy and can never sleep very long because of it. I'm loyal and trustworthy, I never lie, and I'm strong-willed, despite everything else. So I suppose I'm a mix of just about all the ponies, save Rarity, unless you count my generosity in general.

Oh, the kids I look after just love it, when it's on, we all watch together. And I found it amazing that, considering the characters, I'm exactly like Fluttershy from voice-tone to interests and loves and personality.
And despite my better judgment, I decided to start a fanfic as well.... Oh my, look at me, talking to you as though I've known you forever! My apologies if I've thrown you off a bit... -
