it sounds like you really love your family and enjoy being with them a lot... i wish i was back living closer to my family :(... but i like to think that i am helping this family out and they seem to need me more here so i guess it balances out... this kid has had 5 nannies before me so i am sure a little stability is a good thing... families who hire au pairs/nannies seem to be pretty well off and it's sad to think that even these wealthy families also neglect or deny basic needs from their children like quality time and love... i also find that terribly sad

i wish you nothing but good luck with your novels :D i'll keep my eyes open for your books in the future! i have 4 younger brothers and sisters so i guess i was destined to take care of others as well... i commend you for taking care of the elderly, i don't think i could do it because if the whole death thing... i'd be so sad all the time... and thank you for the nice compliment *blushes* and i have to agree with that statement too... for the most part anyways... i've met some people who aren't so nice in the group home atmosphere but i think that might be about not wanting to get too attached... there has to be really clear boundaries when it comes to wards of the state... so it's tricky...i think that is why i left... sometimes kids just need a hug and we weren't allowed to be touchy feely :(

yay for nannies! that is nifty... i don't think i have ever met another nanny in mene! i have only been a nanny since january, this is my first family and i like it so far... i used to work in a mental health home for three years before so i figured nannying should be much easier :lol: ... so how long have you been an aspiring novelist?

I bake on occasion, I've been known to make killer cookies. People get addicted so I always do well at charity bake sales. :3
I'm setting up an art shop... pretty cheap too if I might add!

I baked some the other day! They were delicious!

I'd have to say my favorites are sugar cookies when they're fresh out of the oven and melt in your mouth.
