There's actually a fanfic about that somewhere. :3 The Doctor all dying and sad and heartbreaking at the end of The End of Time, and there's a flash of light a fan pops over just to say (paraphrasing) "Don't worry. I know you feel like you're all alone right now, but in my universe hundreds of thousands of people love you. We don't want to you leave and we're all crying right now, but you'll never be forgotten. Promise." <3 It's really super sweet. I need to track it down now. c:

;w; Sure, she comes back in the end 'cause she's part Time Lord and those guys don't stay dead for long, but the Doctor never finds out. D: I... I think I might risk short-circuiting my keyboard. The Doctor's Daughter is worth it.

'S even worse after seeing the rest of the episode. ;w; The Doctor didn't accept Jenny as his daughter at first, and as it goes on he slowly starts to accept her to the point where he's practically inviting her to join him and Donna on the TARDIS. And then, right after stopping a week long war and showing his soldier-daughter that it's 100% possible to solve things non-violently if your the Doctor Jenny gets fucking shot and dies in the Doctors arms and holy crap I'm gonna start bawling again. :gonk:

The Doctor's Daughter is holyshit sad. ;w; Not as sad as Journey's End or The End of Time, but still really friggin sad. Go watch it. Because then we can baw/cry together about Jenny and how the Doctor isn't allowed to be happy, ever, under any circumstance. </3

Since I don't think you've seen the episode The Doctor's Daughter I don't know how much you'll like it, but I heard this again for the first time in a while today and got all teary-eyed. ;w;
