Deathwing is a scary as hell character. o_o He's the Black Dragon Aspect, and is totally unstable on account of snapping during a battle against the Burning Legion. He killed Malagos' (Blue Dragon Aspect) consort, then almost hunted the Blue Dragon flight to extinction. The rest of the Aspects were finally able to banish him to the Elemental Plane. At least, until now. During his banishment, he's grown so powerful that it's actually tearing him apart, hence the fire about him. That's also why he has metal plates attached to him- not only is it his armor, it's what's keeping him together. He's so strong that he literally exploded into Azeroth from the Elemental Plane. Something that should not in any way be possible.
