They're not actually difficult to acquire. lol. I did a ton of research on this at one point. Debeers has literally tons of them, and controls the price on the global market. The whole conflict thing is actually their fault to begin with, because rebels wouldn't force people to mine the worthless rocks if they were sold for what little they're worth.

See cubic zirconia are perfect diamonds. And they're the appropriate price. Diamonds are pure carbon, and as common as sand.

Indeed. Like debeers? They're the ones who started the whole diamond ring thing, and set the price on a worthless gem, so high that many of us cannot afford them... I'm not bitter. ...Jackholes.

Oh. ...Oh God I'm so sorry. See I'm just biblical, and don't really belong to any sect, so I have little issue with any kind of religious control over me. God is the only authority over me in such matters. Which is how it should be I think. lol. People make up too many stupid rules.
