You and most of the torchwood fangirls(and some boys). Believe me every time his death is mentioned I'm in complete and utter hysterics. And do you know what's worse? I found a vid of Ianto's death played to My Immortal by Evanescence (just the music without the lyrics) and you can just hear them talking over the music and I start wailing like a baby. And then the video continues and shows Jack wishing that Ianto would come back and I can't see straight cuz I'm crying so much.
You're not alone in disliking Gwen. I don't like her some of the time because even though she has Rhys and she went through a lot to get with him and be married and she's having his CHILD then she's still going after Jack. I just don't think that's right somehow. It might just be because I prefer Ianto but that's besides the point. I just don't think taht Gwen and Jack should be together but since she's RTD's favourite then she gets priority -growls- You know there's actually a shrine to Ianto in Cardiff? I've never been there but I've seen pictures and there's an actual site called "Saving Ianto Jones" that I have visited and love!
I think Ianto got with Jack after Lisa's death because he realised that it wasn't really Lisa anymore. It was a cyberman/woman using her body, using him, and Jack did what he couldn't do alone. Well that and I think he seriously needed comfort and Jack was willing to give it at the time.
Another thing that makes it hot is that the actor, John Barrowman, is Gactually gay in real life and he's actualy Scottish (Glaswigen to be exact) and when he talks with a Glasgow accent is is hot/weird at the same time!
And now I'm the one that's rambling...gomen!
