I know exactly what you mean. You and I are alot alike it seems. I have always wanted more responsability and because of that I have never had a real relationship. It is your life. So do what makes you happy.

Hun you can find that when you enter the adult world. Right now you need to just let loose and have fun. (Not meaning sex). I was just like you. Still am in fact. I did not have a very "fun" childhood. You need the fun because when adulthood hits. It sucks.
