Well, it tends to take a couple hours fully to actually bother with it. Mixing the things, layering it, baking the crust first then the middle, then adding the topmost layers and baking one of them with it. Then one adds the top layer of chocolate and put it in to chill for at least six to seven hours. So all in all it can take anywhere from eight to eleven hours, and most of that is cooling to set up after it's all finished.
You can always Google recipes that require springform pans. Or I could give you the recipe I used just a couple weeks ago. Takes eight hours, but gawd, it's worth it...

Aw, I love those pans. I actually had to buy one specifically for one type of cake I make because it's so layered and messy before it bakes and then sets for six hours...

Well, I Like to cook, so that's not so bad. Though the mask makes it much warmer in the kitchen than normally, I don't mind! It's the cleaning I don't like... And someone coming by now and then and asking "How's the patient, doctor?" and snickering and wandering off....
