Yeah it's not like a tourist attraction or anything. More or less of a hidden gem in the city. I only know of it because my mom had two fish tanks, one 175 gallons and the other 100, and she got all of her fish from them throughout the time I was in high school and shortly after. I got some of my fish there, too. It's neato. :)
Yeah, it's not the best aquarium. Not even an aquarium really. It's a store called Cabela's and they have lots and lots of animals, all stuffed, local and exotic set up in terrarium style areas that look like their homeland and then they have this little walk through area that's got local fish in it. Catfish, soft shell turtles, alligator gar, things like that. If I really wanted to take her to see cool fish I'd take her to this place that's a lot closer called Aqua Dome. It's awesome. All they sell is fish and fish supplies. It looks like a big dome cave and the lower floor is freshwater fish and the upper floor is saltwater. They have eels, sea horses, starfish and even sharks, among a lot of other awesome stuff. It's really neat. I've been there so many times that the owners know me by name and even let me hold the sharks, lol.
Hey Papillon! It's going. :) I've got lots going on lately, but I'm handling better than normal, lol. I'm going to take Riley for a walk soon, maybe. I may just take her to the aquarium if it's too hot. How are you?
We're in the same boat there! If I wrote down all my dreams... and daydreams... There wouldn't be enough paper in the world!
I thought so. And to adapt such a convoluted thing as a snake sighting and random thoughtless meandering... a little crazy.
Oh, it's the daydreams that start it, let me tell you! I can't explain how many ideas that come from daydreams. In fact, I'd say my naga character came from half a daydream combined with the completely random sighting of a garter snake.
