Two of the other masters? Perhaps both, yes... Since Lucas keeps brushing them off and Giovanni won't let work relationships happen because of possible complications or issues between them. Coupled with that frustration, I'm sure it'd drive some to murder, especially if they're harboring undiagnosed mental illnesses.....
Hmmh. A good idea. But after just two murders I don't think a copy cat would have caught on. One has to study the tactics and see if they change, or if they're stable and unique, and then a copy cat will begin to imitate. Perhaps a copy cat idea would be good to extend the storyline after the original killer is caught, hm? And as for who it is... What if the violent stalker of Lucas's got out of jail on parole and he's really close to the killings each time. But it's not him, it's a very secretive one that's become utterly obsessed with the man?
Well, since I wrote that he feels as if he's suddenly split, as if he has a second personality, perhaps he's actually rather scared that he might be concealing a violent personality and feels it'd be a good idea to be in jail, at least until he can have a mental evaluation or go over past medical records to clear him of that. And maybe another murder could happen while he's in custody, to make everyone actually realize he's not the murderer.
Ah, yes, the big question... Well, I had a few ideas, actually, but didn't want to take all of them and leave you with nothing to make up on your own too!
No, no, no no no. But considering he's not necessarily as 'level headed' as he thinks he is in the moment, he feels it'd be in his best interest so he isn't followed, lied to, shunned or otherwise publicized for something he hasn't done. And if they go so far as placing him in prison then so be it, because he feels trapped, as if he's fighting a losing battle.
Okay, so... I was seeing a little after Cyrus decided to tell Lucas and things obviously didn't go well. After he's had time to cool off, he decides to go to the department and turn himself in because they obviously know he's the killer. And I feel somehow integrates him into the case itself....

*gasp* Oh. My. God. That's amazing. I've got the right hair color, all it'd take is a couple colored contacts and I'd basically be Byron with shorter hair! And... Ooooh, Danny could be Gabriel. He's not got the right color scheme but it'd be if Byron made Gabe change his hair color to be less recognizable... I like that idea... And a home-made horror movie in general? Perfect! We actually have surveillance equipment and professional microphones... All it'd take is some strategic use of fake blood and knives and some fishing wire for a little extra haunt if we wanted... I'd have to run it by the guys first, see what they think. And there goes my mind...
