When's the finishing day? Well, I hope I finish it Saturday... Then it'll be a matter of conditioning the last of the leather for the collar and clasping it right... I've got the buckles, so that's a point too...
It's why I'm so tired recently... I sleep light as it is and whenever I wake up I can't force myself to go back to sleep without at least getting half a link finished first... It's been that way the past two days and today I've basically locked myself up to work as quickly---and as accurately---as I can without rushing along. I have to get this done in a couple days at least!
Just this chain. Almost done with the fourth foot. One more after this then there's the collar to be made. Saving that for last. And I keep wandering to it because I see the things lying there and... can't let them stay there for more than a few minutes!
Maybe. Might play that off as sensitive eyes... I have that excuse under wraps for good reason!
Oh yes, you will. Captain and Lillian will be annoyed that he's not recording anything! And I have to finish my post, agh... Keep getting distracted.
Ah, I know. I guess the dream wanted to make the recorder something simple and glasses worked in the situation. Easy to play it off as wearing contacts sometimes and wearing glasses the rest of the time, though...
Anything after that... No, not that the dream told me. I didn't really want to have anything go on beyond that lest I get carried away...
Sure, I can...
So apparently it's been a month into the investigation and Cyrus has kept his cover, until now, because the guilt's become too great. And the recorder and microphone is on a pair of glasses in the dream, so he takes them off and tells Lucas that he really needs to talk to him about something... And that just sets in motion the train wreck that unfolds. He starts breaking down as he explains that he's a main part of the investigation that had him go undercover and try to befriend Lucas and gather his trust so he could get as much information out of him as Cyrus can, and that he's terribly sorry for lying so long. Lucas just shakes his head and mutters something, then growls and calls Cyrus a 'little bastard' before storming out.
And it leaves Cyrus alone for long enough that he looks at the glasses and says "I'm sorry, I... can't do it anymore..." and he snaps them in half to break the connection.
Ah... Yes, I think I would. The dream was actually a very serious scene in our new RP. One I actually, to be honest, had kind of thought about before, then was just brought to life last night. Really... tearful. On both sides.
Worrying about me, he said. He told me that he hadn't been able to sleep and at one point found I was crying in my sleep, and got worried... It was just a dream...
Better get back in practice then! When you neglect a talent it gets rusty.
Yes indeed. About a foot and a half left I think---been working on it like crazy and told Cole I'd be locking myself away so I could work on some things for the day. I don't think he minds, poor thing is tired today.
