Well, no, I didn't think so. Around where I used to live it seems to be stuck in winter. Ought to check up over there, actually.... And I need to get into using Celsius temperature measurements---We've been here more than six months I think, and I'm still stuck with Fahrenheit....

Ah, I'm sorry to hear that... but at least it's getting warm 'round there, I hear it's been pretty cold. It breached 90 degrees here today, and it's still pretty warm...

Good evening Pap! Going well enough, we've been sticking to the indoors because it's suddenly gotten quite warm over last night. Working on cleaning up, and I only recently got myself some time to come online. How's it going with you?

Most games, not just card games, require quite a bit of luck. Vanguard is a really fun game. I've played that a few times, and I love the pokemon card game. I still have my old deck. and I do mean OLD. lol.

I might have to actually work the tournament and not get to play. Which will be fine, but if I can, I intend to play. Still there is definitely no way I'd win in this next tournament. Simply because people generally have what they call their 'Friday night magic decks' and those are just for friday night magic. They're fun decks that usually do pretty good and win sometimes. In tournaments like the one this saturday, people put away their FNM decks and pull out their. 'this is gonna win no matter what deck' and usually stomp people like me who are just using an fnm deck. Sometimes the fnm deck will win because the people playing the 'i'm gonna win deck' expect everyone to play their 'im gonna win deck' so they just aren't expecting or prepared for a simple deck. I guess an easier way of explaining it would be. you have easy mode decks and hardcore decks. tournaments like these people use the hard core decks. Still, sometimes you get lucky. In the prerelease, they give you a few booster packs (well you pay for them) and you're only allowed to make a deck with the cards you pull from the booster packs. Oddly enough, the decks I built in the prerelease were amazing decks and built very well, because I have really good deck building skills. I just kept getting crappy draws. Like when I needed land to play a spell, I'd never draw any land so I couldn't get hardly any spells or creatures off. >.> and now I'm rambling and your probably like 'I don't understand a word your saying @[email protected]' >.< sorry!

That sounds like it would be delicious. A new set of magic cards prereleased this weekend. so of course we had a tournament friday night at midnight after the usual friday night magic, then two on Saturday at 12p.m and 6p.m, then one on Sunday at 2p.m. I played in all four, and lost more horribly than anyone could imagine. got little sleep between each prerelease event, because we had alot of product to open and sort for the shop. I think it's all the losing that's gotten me so down. also theres another huge tournament this upcoming saturday, it's a qualifier tournament for a huge tournament where you can actually go and win lots of money. So we gotta get ready for that, all the while we're also trying to get all the new product opened and out on display so we can sell it. It's just a lot of work piled ontop of my horrible losing. I dunno. I probably shouldn't be as bummed out as I am..but I am a borderline manic depressive so things that usually wouldn't make people very depressed generally make me very depressed.
