Especially since they're obviously perfect together..

I know... That's why I prefer looking for people that don't really have a set plotline in mind, just an idea of what could happen at any given time. That's given place for twists, turns, anything that could happen at any given time. And it's very bothersome when you're so constricted in reply and character.

True, although their initial idea was to get Dylan immersed in the world he used to reject and perhaps have him be a stepping stone for other living humans to embrace their gifts. They might feel obligated to share their knowledge with Dylan and Eddie afterward.

Ah, other RPers. I'm not naming any names, but one can hardly change anything if they have an idea in mind and want to run with it. And forget putting in any plot twists they didn't think up or that might take away from the plot they have already set out in their mind.

Oh, that's definitely a good point! They would obviously see how close Dylan and Eddie are, and feel it'd be easy if they stay together indefinitely. Ah, when an RP makes you cry, you know you're doing something right. There's emotion there.

Heh, well, just need to have secondary characters that capture both writers' attention. Although other people can be a bit... pushy or intolerant...

That'd be good. I was thinking it happens after the camp... Probably without much time to actually decide or they'll have to wait another year for next Halloween. And I know, I tend to be very mean to my characters... For some reason I just want to make them cry from time to time. I guess because I don't mind crying in reality, why should they?

Heh, more people ought to drift to corresponding plots within their main plot. It'd be so interesting to read more of.

Oh, that's good then... I'd say a lot later in the story itself, after things between them are cemented and decisions can be finalized without second guesses. And it's an excuse to make Eddie tear up, which I've been looking for...

Didn't seem to have much of a plan. Perhaps it's an offshoot storyline that can completely focus on them from time to time. Such as tagging along during demon hunts, including Ollie's description of certain things that inspire Em's paintings? Then we put the four together again now and then to put in a bigger plot twist or story progresser?

Well, it was a bit more extensive than the actual dream. They were at home during the day, and Dylan actually asked if there was some way he could basically stop the aging process without death. Eddie had to think for a minute but decided to tell the truth, that there's a way to do so but it has to be done by the Council and on the evening of Halloween, when the veil between the world of the living and the dead is at its thinnest. They'll be able to take a portion of his soul without it resulting in death, but it's final, and he'll be the same age forever yet still susceptible to death. But he also starts muttering about the what-if situations. "What if you... start to hate me?" "What if you don't want to deal with this anymore?" "You'll watch the human friends you have age and die and you'll have to get used to saying goodbye..." And obviously it's not that Eddie's trying to convince him not to. He's trying to look out for Dylan, especially in a situation that would cease his aging process.

Ah, I did too... I was actually thinking about that, and half came up with some kind of... ritual that could grant Dylan immortality without necessarily killing him, but the concept was a difficult one for them to talk about. Seemed in my half-awake dream Dylan was okay with it but Eddie couldn't stop thinking about all the 'what if' situations that would make him regret it.

Oh good, no implication! About four thirty here, nearing dinnertime if I'm right. No set times around here so I can never really figure it out..

No worries here, Pap, I went off to make pizza for lunch and just got back myself.
