Uhh, I know that now... After implicating myself, mind.
Heh, well both are horror-sci-fi, regardless. One just circles around low-key kidnapping and experimentation, and the other revolves around high-scale nuclear weapons gone wrong. I guess the first is a little easier to start with, when it's put that way...
All rightie then... What shall we start with? Characters, perhaps? Their job with whomever sent them out as well?
Oh, I knew that, I meant more specific when you're referring to whether it's regarding storylines or... not.
I know---so easy to slip into a fantasy feel. That's especially difficult when you're trying to write psychological horror. It's easy to make things so... implausible that you just snap right out of the immersion. Sci-fi... Not the best in the world on this end, but it's good to try. So, first idea's better? I suppose, especially for practice time.
Would you want to talk about it here, or via email so we're not creating 'practice threads' in the RP forum...?
It's more of like she is becoming male. If Akito continues to lose his memories she will never appear again and Akito will be a complete male. You see demons usually aren't born with a true stable gender. Akito was born ad female but her rejection to her gender has caused her to slowly become a male. There are even demons that can change gender at will. But for some reason royalty is really good at everything but changing genders. When they change genders they usually have to give up something. In this case it would be any memory of being a female. Basically it is Casimir who will decide if Akito will become a true male or go back to being female.
Uhh, you need to be more specific.... Here, take the shovel! Take it! I don't want to dig more!
Huh, that's... weird? Nowadays my dreams are... not able to be spoken of in great detail on Mene. Although I decided to just fill in what the dream refused to, and came up with that... Remember, you're trying to get away from fantasy, we can't make it a supernatural or fantasy-type reasoning. Ahh, but a similar idea revolved around freakish, hairless human-like vampire-based creatures. It was basically in a very simple, small church, boarded up and fortified somewhat against the things outside that were only able to come out at night. They were very dark skinned, with extremely long arms and legs and elongated bodies, hairless heads and very, very wide, large mouths full of needle-sharp, pale teeth, and black eyes. They had very limited abilities in speech, but were very fast and agile. Come to discover they're the result of nuclear testing that targeted the DNA of humans and animals as large as humans.
True, true.
But it's not characters! It's real life... and involves me... and my hands... and I'll shut the hell up right now, right now...
Ahhh... Well, I basically dreamed the idea, so it never really went too specific. I'd say it's the result of the headmaster's science obsession that doesn't seem to fit standard medical practices, so it's impossible to say how he was doing what he did. But he gradually began luring students away and basically kidnapping them while they were on the grounds, locking them away, torturing them and injecting them with the serum he felt would rearrange their genetic makeup and make them stronger, smarter, or in all, change them. But it went bad, and they became grotesque monstrosities, massacring the other kids, multiplying somehow, but never being really discovered. It was deemed a horrible and random mass killing and the place was closed down, surrounded by very high iron fences.
Well, interesting twists. One can buy various spices, additions, so on, and put them through the filter with the coffee grounds.
Oh, no! That'd certainly break Mene's ToS! Sometimes one wishes, though...
Ahh, I see... Poe was an amazing writer, was he not? I basically live in the horror genera, though. A more recent idea comes from... well, a few years ago---a dream, really. In which two fledgling investigators are sent to an old boarding school to track the movements of an escaped killer that's been seen around the deserted grounds, but after a certain amount of time, they find that the place is overrun with what appears to be humanoid mutations.
Ahem... What say?
No I was asking about where Akito finally changes. It's sort of crazy but it explains perfectly why she's in the human world. Though it was really awful of her dad to offer a price for her head like that. I can be mean to my characters too much.
Oh, I know that place. I... don't know if Lima has even one... We make coffee specifically for each person, though. Can't beat the home-style in the end...
Ah, well, that's why I'm neglecting some information. Because I'm not entirely sure if you'd want to hear it, know? Because when you're around me, you pretty much hear everything...
Well, I guess it depends. Do you know much about horror in general? You might surprise yourself in coming up with a basis for a horror plot... Although I do have ideas in mind...
