Which waaaas... A newly promoted head detective, Carter, meets an artistic type, Mel, in a coffee shop on his first day back at work after the promotion, and they quickly hit it off, and after a time it's discovered Mel is accidentally strewn up in a murder plot involving hitmen who want him dead because they think he saw a crime being committed. Soooo he's put into protective custody and separated from Carter, but it's soon realized he's been found and kidnapped and Carter goes absolutely insane with anger that's covering his terror at not knowing where Mel is or if he's okay, and apparently the chief knows who took him.
*squeaks* Weeeell... It was about a guy called Ken and his seven year old adopted daughter Millie, who meet a man named Allen at an amusement park she wanted to go to, and at Millie's requesting they decide to spend the day together and after Millie falls asleep on the way out, Allen decides to slip his number to Ken and says he hopes to hear from him soon. And Ken hopes to spend more time with Allen, this time alone, and asks his mother to take Millie in for the weekend after he and Allen decide on a meeting spot on Saturday. But that's where it ends...
