Hmm..... Well I think it'd be good with horror aspects, know? Although I'd hope to keep it revolving around the small circle of characters, other temp characters, and the house itself, along with the experiements the uncle was performing, mostly on his most trusted help (and friend, so naturally he wouldn't want to kill or maim the guy).... Would make for an interesting series of happenings, mysterious deaths, uncovering more and more that neither of them ever knew about, and gradually going more into horror as it goes along?

I like the concept of a couple missing fingers like in Outlast... I mean, it looked a little gimpy, know? But I loved the main character anyway, even what that mutilation that's obvious to anyone and could make anyone self-conscious. I was thinking about something for my guy, too, know? Like I guess we're keeping this away from fantasy or anything, so I'm considering some kind of.... mental or natural enhancement that might make him seem a little more than human. Or maybe the guy's uncle WAS doing experiments and the reason he only has one person living with him is because the butler was the subject of these experiments?

Well you're kind of jumping all over the place! Um, let me see... You kind of gave me an idea... Perhaps the nephew of an old and influential man. He dies and since his shy but clingy, loney nephew gets everything because he's all that's left. And along with this he gets the 'help', of which there is a single butler that takes care of the house in full as cook, cleaner, and companion, the only other one being an older gardener that only speaks Russian (improv, you like?).
