i haven't heard of that myth but i like it already. i've heard of similar ones from pantheons and the like (one lives during the day, the other at night). there was one from a miyazaki movie, whisper of the heart, that i liked but i don't know if he made it up or if he got it from somewhere else. it's a grandfather clock that shows the dwarves living underground and when the clock strikes 12 the dwarf king peeks out and looks at the fairy, he loves her.. she is only a fairy at the stroke of 12 and the she turns back to a sheep. such a sad fate for these loves
