I've had Baklava a few times...and I, too, wasn't terribly impressed....
Maybe my grandma's apple pie made me biased! Lol!
I hope ya find some yummy pizza whilst in the east!
I'm not big on pizza....prolly cuz I've rarely had anything better than the poor excuse for pizza that gets delivered to the door, dripping in grease!
....and Beau Jo's (the original Mountain Pie) is a bit pricey for me.
I hope the weather is pleasant where you are! ...we have been having warm days but very chilly nights...dipping below the 50 degree mark before the sun comes up...and, today, the high won't reach 70!
I guess it's hot in Denver, though...cuz everybody who comes up says "Oh! It is gloriously COOL up here!"
....Them in shorts, me in a sweatshirt...and, often, a jacket! Lol!

Those deceitful bastards killed our beloved earlier than the 5pm on the 26th as they said they would.
I tried logging in at about midnight PST and I received that horrific message stating that they apologize for the inconvenience, but due to unforseen circumstances the site was closed.
You know what you can do with those unforseen circumstances, don't ya?
Anywho, I am still attempting to navigate this site with nominal success. And dang if I can't figure out how to dress myself.
But it looks like we found this site just in time.
